Whether performing solo with pre-recorded accompaniment, as a duo with piano, in a trio featuring flutes, keyboard, and double bass, or as a quartet incorporating guitar and percussion, the emotional resonance of his music remains constant.

Patrick Therrien masterfully blends the sounds of guitar, vibrational flutes, harpsichord, piano, organ, and percussion, evoking the elegance of the Baroque era.

His music offers therapeutic relief, alleviating negative emotional states such as sadness, anger, stress, and emotional shocks, providing a calming and uplifting experience for the soul.

A graduate in music education from Université Laval, Patrick shared his passion for music by teaching in Quebec schools for 33 years. Between composing, rehearsing, live performances, virtual concerts via Zoom, hosting television programs, and writing children’s stories, he continues to create and perform his works with vibrational flutes, often collaborating with other talented musicians.

Since 2016, Patrick has produced two remarkable albums, "Watopeka... sur le sentier de l’Être" and "Watopeka... la première Ascension," earning the World Beat award at the Akademia Music Awards in 2019. He was named Artist of the Year in the “Best Vision” World Beat category and received the Artist of the Year award for Best Album in the “World Music” category in 2020 at the same competition. Recently, he was nominated in the “Rising Star” category for his talent and perseverance at the Akademia Music Awards.
