Asian woodwinds and the erhu have been around for over a thousand years, offering the audience a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the rich and varied sounds of Asian musical traditions. Ron's latest album, Asia Beauty, was nominated at the 58th Grammy Awards and won "Best of Show" at the Global Music Awards and first place for Best Instrumental at the International Acoustic Music Awards. The album also won Best World Album at the ZMR Awards in 2016 and Best World Fusion at the One World Radio Awards. In 2016, Ron received the Brand Laureate International Personality Award alongside Adele, English footballer Sol Campbell, veteran BBC journalist John Simpson, and actors Andy Serkis and Keanu Reeves.
