We invite you to experience an extraordinary musical performance by Mike Paul Kuekuatsheu, a renowned singer-songwriter from the Innu Nation of Mashteuiatsh.
This Indigenous folk-rock and traditional show will immerse you in the rhythms and sounds of the First Peoples. Accompanied by four musicians, Mike Paul offers a festive, colorful, and deeply moving experience, blending French and Innu. The performance takes you into the Nutshimit (the heart of the land), celebrating Indigenous cultural and musical richness while shining a spotlight on Nehlueun, a language on the verge of extinction, during the UN-proclaimed International Decade of Indigenous Languages.
