Harold Faustin, a Montreal-based guitarist, composer, and producer, is a pillar of the local Haitian music scene. Over his 30-year career, he has created a unique sound blending jazz, Haitian rhythms, and Afro-Caribbean influences. A recipient of prestigious awards (Soba 2007, Cator 1998), he studied musicology in Montreal and jazz at McGill University. Following his 2023 EP, ESQUISSE, he launched Koulkoul with singer Samina, offering original compositions and reinterpretations that celebrate the meeting of cultures with integrity and respect.
